Over the next few weeks Dalton Risner Pillow Cover, wel be taking a closer look at the Titans free agent class. One by one, wel provide some basic details on the player before making an argument for both sides why the Titans should, or shouldn re-sign that player. Wel also offer our final verdict and a prediction to go along with it. Name: Geoff SwaimPosition: tight endAge: 27Why the Titans should keep Swaim: Swaim was a relatively late addition to the Titans roster, signing with the team back in mid-August to add more competition to the position during training camp. It was a bit of a minor surprise when Swaim actually made the final roster. As the weeks went by, it was clear that Swaim did more than just make the team. He started to play a role on a weekly basis, especially when fellow tight end MyCole Pruitt had to miss a few games while dealing with COVID-19 https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Marquiss_Spencer_Pillow_Cover-539. Swaim and Pruitt possess similar skill-sets. Swaim is an excellent blocker and was often used as an in-line tight end at the line of scrimmage. On many occasions, just like Pruitt does, Swaim helped catapult a couple of big Derrick Henry runs. By the end of the season, the Titans were rolling with four tight ends on the active gameday roster on a weekly basis. Swaim is also an underrated pass catcher. The defense doesn really expect him to get the ball when he on the field, and the Titans took advantage of that on several occasions. As long as Henry is on this roster, No. 22 will remain the vocal point of the offense. That means there will always be a place for players like Swaim on this team. Why the Titans should let Swaim walk: Swaim is an average-at-best athlete who doesn make a big impact in the passing game. It tough to see the Titans rolling with four tight ends on a weekly basis again in 2021. I wouldn say that it impossible, but three is typically the more ideal number. Final verdict: The Titans should move in a different direction. Prediction: The Titans have some decisions to make at tight end. In addition to Swaim, Jonnu Smith and MyCole Pruitt are unrestricted free agents while Anthony Firkser is an RFA. I imagine that both Smith and Firkser will be back in 2021 https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Kendall_Hinton_Face_Mask-508. This could come down to Swaim versus Pruitt, and I think the Titans would lean towards Pruitt. What are your thoughts Should the Titans re-sign Swaim Leave your opinion in the comments.
